Sedation and Euthanasia

Sedation and Euthanasia

When you have decided that the time has come to help your beloved friend pass we will meet you at the previously decided location. Here we will start by administering a sedative to your pet. This will relieve any anxiety or pain it may be experiencing. After a few minutes your pet will be comfortable and in very peaceful, deep sleep. Our goal is to assure your treasured friend will experience no discomfort in their final moments.
When you are ready a second solution will be given to gently stop the heart. This is usually instant and takes only moments. After your beloved pet has passed you may want to spend some time privately with it to say good-bye or to remember precious stories about all the wonderful times you had together.
