This organization – Greener Pastures Pet Hospice, LLC – is amazing! The person who came to our house was so patient, didn’t rush us, gave us options at every step, stepped back and out of the picture when we needed some time, was very knowledgeable and shared that knowledge without judging or pushing us.
My husband wasn’t sure about paying someone to do this but said afterward that he was so glad we did! I’m so glad they helped us make this easier for Missy and for us – it is such a difficult decision. It’s going to be so hard not having her along for my walks, looking out the window and not seeing her checking out her property around us (we have 5 acres and she knew every single blade of grass on it), not having her try to make her way to me for some petting (and leaning against my leg while we waited for the others to do their business) while being nipped at and barked at by 3 little running chihuahuas.
